Why Mind The Gap Super? My Journey and Our Mission
My journey began as a literary person with a love for reading and writing, a passion I sought to pair with a deeper purpose. That purpose revealed itself during internships in Venture Capital.
I discovered the fascinating, dizzying world of innovation and technology. I was meeting brilliant people working on everything from space tech to AI. VC felt like a constant exploration.
But as I took my first steps, I quickly understood how vast and complex this universe truly was. Finding your way in is hard. When terms like ARR, GTM, and Cohort Analysis sound like a foreign language, and the sheer volume of information creates overwhelming noise, it’s easy to get lost.
This led to a realization: there is a profound knowledge gap between those operating inside the European tech ecosystem and those eager to join or understand it. We are lacking a media source that centralizes all the critical information in a succinct, analytical way, a tool that can bring value to anyone, experienced or not.
That realization is why Mind The Gap was born on August 2025 on LinkedIn and is now extending to a Super version on Substack.
The Voice We Need: Changing the Discussion
While working in the ecosystem, I also realized how few women were taking part in the general tech discussions. While fantastic resources exist for women in tech, few women are publicly and consistently talking about funding, analysis, and deep-dives the way a lot of (great) men do.
Mind The Gap is trying to change that. We are committed to bringing a strong, informed feminine voice to all kinds of tech subjects. We hope that this inspires other women to step forward and, maybe (a girl has a dream), help rebalance the currently uneven conversation.
Our Core Missions: Clarity, Community, and Competition
Shed Light on European Champions: Despite a clear funding gap compared to the US, we are still in the game. We need to actively showcase the champions being built on our lands.
Guide the Next Generation: We are here to help those who want to start a career in VC or Tech and participate in something that has a real, positive impact on our societies.
Build a Driven Community: Ultimately, Mind The Gap is meant to be a positive community that joins a diverse bunch of people to strengthen the innovation ecosystem across Europe.
